                                                                                      ABOUT THE MUSIC

The prelude for this Sunday is “Prelude For Lent” by French composer Alphonse Schmitt (1875-1912).  The Offertory is “Etude” by Polish composer Frederic Chopin (1810-1849).  The postlude is “Andante Maestoso” by German composer Julius Andre (1808-1880 A.D.).

Plan ahead to attend a special violin duo concert here at St. Nicholas on Saturday night, April 4 at 7:30pm.  The performers are Mia Bella D’Augelli who played for us last Christmas Eve and local violinist Sam Schuth.  The suggested donation for the concert is $15, however, no one will be turned away for lack of funds.  Please see the “take home” poster by the front door.   Terry Foster,  Church Musician
