The offertory is “The Bells of Advent” to the tune of an old Scottish folk song.

The postlude is “O Heavenly Word, Eternal Light” a 17th century melody for Advent.

The St. Nicholas Chimers will have a short rehearsal after Coffee Hour.  Please join us!

                                                                                  ANNOUNCEMENTS

We will be needing to hire a cleaning person the beginning of January.  A list of duties coming soon.  Please see Kelly or Cynthia if you or know of someone who is interested.

Just a reminder when using the mic at the podium, please speak right into the mic.

Our dedicated St. Nick’s News editor would like to “hand over the keyboard” and step down from this mission.  If you are interested in taking on this important outreach mission, please let us know.

OUTREACH

Giving Sunday  is December 15.  Please bring non-perishable items for the food pantry and place them in the basket in the entry.  Thank you.

St. Elizabeth’s Essentials Pantry

The next scheduled date for St. Nick’s participation is this Tuesday, January 14th.  Please speak to Terry or Anna FMI.  Coats and jackets are still needed.

Chocolate Bars

Once again this holiday season, we will be selling Equal Exchange chocolate bars.  They are sustainably sourced and provide a living wage for Latin American farmers.  AND in this case since this is a fundraiser, the proceeds will also benefit the health work of Konbit Sante in northern Haiti.  They will be available in several varieties, and sell for $5 each or 3 for $12.  I also have a limited supply of Equal Exchange Baking Cocoa and Hot Chocolate Mix ($6/can).  Thank you in advance for your support!  Nancy Nickerson
