St. Nick’s Mini Christkindlsmarket

Saturday, November 16th  9:00 to 12:00

Featuring Christmas decorations, Bake Table, Music and more

Our fair is next Saturday so please invite your friends and neighbors and don’t forget to sign up for the baked goods table.

We will be setting up on Friday, November 15th during the day.  Someone will be at church by 10:00 if you wish to drop off items.

The next Bishop’s Committee meeting is scheduled for November 14th  at 6:30.  All are welcome.

Michael Dill of the Landmark Church (that shares our church space) and his church family have extended an invitation to join them for a “Fall Fellowship Meal” on Wednesday, November 20th at 6:30.  Look for the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board.

We will have a congregational meeting on November 24th after the service.  Please try to be there.

Logan Place

The tenants at Logan Place were very appreciative of the fine meal provided by St. Nicholas on November 4th.  Many thanks to Terry Foster, Cynthia and John Nye, Anna and Dick Hamilton and Nancy Nickerson.

St. Elizabeth’s Essentials Pantry

This Tuesday, November 12th from 9:00 to 11:00 is our next scheduled date for volunteering at the Pantry.  Please see Terry Foster if you would like to participate in this ministry.

The weather is cooling down and St. Elizabeth’s is collecting jackets and coats of all sizes to give to those in need.  If you have any that you are no longer using, please consider donating them to this cause.  They can be left at St. Nick’s and we will get them to the Pantry.  If the size is not indicated on the jacket, please write the size on a piece of tape and stick it on the garment.  This will be a big help to the sorters.

The Scarborough Food Pantry

Giving Sunday is November 17

The Scarborough Food Pantry has reached out to St. Nick’s for our help with their “gift bags” to be given out in December.  They are hoping to fill the bags with cleaning products including laundry soap, dish soap, bath or hand soap.  We will place “our basket full of items” around the altar at ingathering before bringing to the Food Pantry.
