More news next week!

The Scarborough Food Pantry

The Scarborough Food Pantry has reached out to St. Nick’s for our help with their “gift bags” to be given out in December.  They are hoping to fill the bags with cleaning products including laundry soap, dish soap, bath or hand soap.  We will place “our basket full of items” around the altar at ingathering before bringing to the        Food Pantry.

Logan Place

Monday, November 4th is the next date for serving dinner to the residents of Logan Place.  Please speak to Nancy Nickerson if you would like to take part in this ministry by buying, preparing, or serving that meal.

 St. Elizabeth’s Essentials Pantry

The weather is cooling down and St. Elizabeth’s is collecting jackets and coats of all sizes to give to the needy.  If you have any that you are no longer using, please consider donating them to this cause.  They can be left at St. Nick’s and we will get them to the Pantry.  If the size is not indicated on the jacket, please write the size on a piece of tape and stick it on the garment.  This will be a big help to the sorters.

Our next scheduled date for volunteering at the Pantry is Tuesday, November 12th from 9:00 to 11:00.  Please see Terry Foster if you would like to participate in this ministry.
