The prelude for this Sunday is “Prelude in G” by American composer Francis Howard McKay (1901-1985). 

The offertory is “Kamennoi Ostrow” by Russian composer Anton Rubinstein (1829-1894). 

The postlude is “Sketch In C” by German composer Robert Schumann (1810-1856).

Due to our special reception, the St. Nick’s Chimers will not rehearse today but will rehearse after Coffee Hour next Sunday, May 26.

A meeting of the congregation is being planned for either June 2 or June 10.  Please watch for the final and plan to attend if possible.

 

OUTREACH

 

Konbit Sante is holding its 10th Annual Maine Walks with Haiti on Saturday, June 8th at Back Cove in Portland.  Starting time 8:30, and registration is free for walkers (pledges are encouraged).  There is a fee to register for the Timed Run.  The proceeds of this event – Konbit’s signature fundraiser of the year – help finance Konbit’s efforts to improve health for those living in the Cap Haitien community of Haiti.  St. Nicholas has supported this organization in many ways in the past including the Maine Walks.  Thank you in advance for your support of this event!  FMI…www.konbitsante.org or speak with Nancy Nickerson

 

Equal Exchange chocolate bars which were sold during coffee hour on

May 5, as well as the Papier Mache Hummingbirds, will be back by popular demand on Sunday, May 26.  The bars sell for $5 each or 3/$12 and the hummingbird ornaments for $12.  FMI—Nancy Nickerson.
