Chocolate to Benefit Konbit Sante

As has become a December custom, I will be selling delicious Equal Exchange chocolate bars—organic, sustainably sourced, milk and dark chocolate, 6 varieties—for 2 Sundays in December.  These sell for $5/ bar, or $12/ three bars. I will also have cans of Hot Cocoa Mix and Baking Cocoa ($6/can). Proceeds after cost benefit  Konbit Sante’s work to improve healthcare in northern Haiti.  I will be selling them during Coffee Hour on Dec 16 (and 23, for late shoppers!).  A percentage of all we purchase from Equal Exchange is also donated to Episcopal Relief & Development.  FMI—Nancy Nickerson

Candidates for the Next Bishop of Maine

Candidates for Bishop have been presented. Please thoughtfully review and present your choices to Kelly & Jane. We will be representing St Nick’s at the election in February.  On Sunday, January 20 we will host candidate Rev. Kenneth Brannon and his wife as part of the selection process.

Attention Eucharistic Ministers

Lay ministers, please review email sent by Kelly. There is a two-part Safe Church class to be completed by mid-January that is required to be certified.

Sandpiper Children’s Center Fundraiser

Again this year, Sandpiper has gift cards for sale.  These gift cards can be used at dozens of different businesses – great for gifts or for your own use.  Lorna Kerbel will have a sign-up sheet and can answer any questions you may have.
