Chocolate to Benefit Konbit Sante
As has become a December custom, I will be selling delicious Equal Exchange chocolate bars—organic, sustainably sourced, milk and dark chocolate, 6 varieties—for 2 Sundays in December. These sell for $5/ bar, or $12/ three bars. I will also have cans of Hot Cocoa Mix and Baking Cocoa ($6/can). Proceeds after cost benefit Konbit Sante’s work to improve healthcare in northern Haiti. I will be selling them during Coffee Hour on Dec 16 (and 23, for late shoppers!). A percentage of all we purchase from Equal Exchange is also donated to Episcopal Relief & Development. Candidates for Bishop have been presented. Please thoughtfully review and present your choices to Kelly & Jane. We will be representing St Nick’s at the election in February. On Sunday, January 20 we will host candidate Rev. Kenneth Brannon and his wife as part of the selection process.
Attention Eucharistic Ministers
Lay ministers, please review email sent by Kelly. There is a two-part Safe Church class to be completed by mid-January that is required to be certified.
