SCARBOROUGH COMMUNITY GARDEN NEWS

We had some work scheduled this week.  Compost has been delivered and was to be spread by volunteers from Keller Williams on May 10.  A second work day was scheduled for Saturday, May 12 from 9:30 to 11am.  Volunteers from the Warriors basketball team from Scarborough is sending some boys to help.  The pathways were scheduled to be laid out, and perhaps you will see some newly planted cold weather crops!  Watch this space for more garden updates.

 

LOOKING AHEAD TO JUNE

Saturday, June 2 – 8am to 2pm – Sandpiper Yard Sale

As you do your spring cleaning, please set aside items for the Sandpiper Yard Sale!  Items may be dropped off on Friday afternoon.  Volunteers are needed to help sort and price, and on Saturday to help with sales.  People with trucks or large vehicles could help at the end of the sale by taking a load of any leftover items to Goodwill.
