ABOUT THE INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC

This Sunday we feature the St. Nicholas Chimers playing throughout the service.  For prelude they will play “Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee” by German composer Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827 A.D.).

 For offertory they will play “My Faith Looks Up To Thee” by American composer Lowell Mason (1792-1872 A.D.).

At the Eucharist they will play the African-American spiritual “Were You There?”

The organ postlude will be “Postlude in F” by Norwegian composer Christian Cappelen (1850-1941 A.D.).
